This past weekend I went to Ladies Loving Nashville Convention with an organization I am a part of called " Love Nashville". The week previous we had went to entertainment clubs in downtown Nashville to give a gift and invitation to the girls to come to the convention. At the convention they offered free health care, dental, connections with job services, and GED education info. The highlight of the day was a story of a homeless woman who came and prayed for a pair of good walking shoes cause her feet were hurting. She went to a table where they were giving away clothes but no shoes. She looked around and saw some high heels on the table but no walking shoes. Then to her right she saw one pair of walking shoes in her size! She was so excited and was almost in tears. God had answered her prayers. The event was very powerful and encouraging for women and focused on how we can come together to make a difference in our community and world.
